The full review

Munchkin's swing takes a minimalist approach: a light, two-piece frame that sways side to side at five levels, controlled from a touch display or the included remote. It has eight ambient sounds and four classical pieces built in, and Bluetooth lets you play your own playlist through its speaker.

It's for babies from 2.5kg to 9kg, until they can sit up or climb out, with a five-point harness, a support strap and a recline you can adjust. Munchkin says it weighs under 9lb, around half the weight of other swings, and it folds for storage. It runs on mains power, with a coin cell for the remote.

Owners are notably happy with it: it averages 4.75 out of 5 from 67 reviews at Argos. The limits are the single direction of motion and the need for a plug, and at around £180 it costs about the same as the more versatile Maxi-Cosi Cassia.
