The full review

The Baby Delight is Graco's cheapest swing and makes no pretence of being clever. It swings front to back at two speeds, has a three-position recline, a five-point harness and a rotating toy bar with two soft toys, and it runs on four C batteries, so there's no cable.

It's light at 4.67kg and folds to just 28cm deep, which makes it easy to store or take to a relative's house. Owners are pleased, averaging 4.8 out of 5 from 32 reviews at Argos and from 10 on Graco's own site. One of those glowing reviews mentions how easily the baby drifts off in it, which is exactly the moment to move them to their cot.

The limits are obvious: two speeds, one direction, no sounds, and a running cost in batteries. But as a simple way to free up your hands for a few minutes, it does the job for very little money.
