Strictly speaking, the Keep Cozy isn't a swing: it's a bouncer and rocker with a vibration unit, and I've included it because for many families it's the better buy. It has three modes (bouncing, rocking and a stationary seat with a kickstand at the back) and is designed for use from birth up to 30 months and 18kg (40lb).

For newborns there's a removable infant bolster, two recline positions and a five-point harness, and the seat pad and bolster go in the washing machine. The vibration runs on one C battery. Ingenuity says it was the best-selling bouncer in the US by sales in 2024, and it averages 4.4 out of 5 from more than 10,000 ratings on Amazon UK.

The catch is right there in this category's name: nothing moves on its own except the vibration, so it won't replace a swing if what you need is sustained motion while your hands are full. And like everything here, it's for awake time: move your baby to their cot if they fall asleep.
