The full review

The Serina 2in1 is a traditional frame swing with a clever extra: the seat lifts off and works as a standalone rocker, so you can take it into another room. On the frame, a twist of the seat switches between front-to-back and side-to-side swinging. Joie's UK site lists five classic lullabies, five nature sounds, vibration and three recline positions, while Argos quotes six swing speeds.

It's for babies from birth to 9kg, with a five-point harness and a detachable head hugger for newborns. The trade-off is size: Joie gives the dimensions as 91.5 x 73 x 81cm and the weight as 11.22kg, so it's a fixture rather than something you'll move around much, even with built-in wheels.

Owners rate it well, averaging 4.5 out of 5 from 50 reviews on Joie's site and 4.6 from 14 at Argos. Among the recent reviews, one owner found the harness straps short on a growing baby and another found the motor noise noticeable. Argos also notes it isn't intended for prolonged sleeping, which applies to every product here.
