The full review

The SnuzPod 5 is here as a reality check. It has no motor, no sensors and no app, but it does the thing most parents really need at 3am: it keeps your baby in their own sleep space, right next to you, at the height of your mattress. Straps fix it to divans, ottomans and framed beds, a wall zips down for feeds, and six height settings suit beds up to 70.5cm from the floor.

It's a 3-in-1: a bedside crib, a standalone crib, or a lift-off bassinet that sits on a curved stand you can rock by hand. That covers the gentle motion many parents want a smart crib for, as long as you're the one providing it. Snüz says it's certified to BS EN 1130:2019, with the included 3D mesh mattress certified to BS EN 16890.

MadeForMums included it in its April 2026 roundup of bedside cribs at £199.95, noting that every crib on that list meets BS EN 1130:2019. The downsides are practical ones: it weighs 12.4kg, and it's for babies up to 9kg or about six months, or sooner if they can sit, kneel, roll or pull up.
