Fridababy 3-in-1 Humidifier, Diffuser & Nightlight review

A cute, simple cool-mist humidifier that lacks the humidistat a nursery really needs.

The full review

Frida's humidifier is an ultrasonic cool-mist unit that doubles as a night light and an essential oil diffuser. Frida says it runs for up to 60 hours on a fill, suits rooms of up to 320 square feet (about 30m²), switches off automatically when the water runs low and needs no filters. A large tank opening makes cleaning easier, and a knob adjusts the mist output.

What's missing is any way to measure or regulate humidity. With no humidistat, it will keep adding moisture whether the room needs it or not, so you'd want a separate hygrometer and the discipline to switch it off. Frida's product page doesn't give a noise figure, just a promise that it's whisper-quiet, and it carries no age guidance for the diffuser function. I'd leave oils out entirely.

It's a pleasant, simple device at a fair price. But for a nursery, the Levoit Dual 150's humidistat makes it a smarter buy for similar money.
