Wireless, huge battery, low price, but mind the 95dB switch.

The full review

JLab's JBuddies Studio 2 are a cheap wireless pair with a wired option and a Share Wireless mode that lets two children listen to one device. The Independent recommended them as a great-value, all-bases-covered option.

The smaller ear cups and pinch-free sliding hinges suit younger children, who can adjust them without trapping fingers. The Independent's six-year-old tester found them a good fit, while her nine-year-old had almost outgrown them.

JLab now quotes 65+ hours of wireless playtime. The catch is the hearing protection switch: it offers 85dB or 95dB, so check it's on 85 before a young child uses them. They don't feel as premium as some rivals, but the sound quality won praise.
