The full review
Puro Sound Labs was founded to tackle noise-induced hearing loss in children, and the BT2200 is its long-running Bluetooth pair. Mumsnet rates it the best kids' headphones for travel, praising the comfort, sound quality, background noise isolation and a robust aluminium frame that folds flat for hand luggage.
Sound is limited to 85dB, battery life is around 18 hours, and a 3.5mm cable keeps it going when the battery runs low. At 150g it's light for a premium pair.
Two things hold it back here. It costs around £80, roughly twice the price of the BuddyPhones, without a lower toddler setting. And T3 noted a review suggesting the original BT2200's limiter was less effective over a cable (it says this may have been fixed in the newer BT2200 Plus, which comes with both on-ear and over-ear cups for around £100).
