The full review

The Dual Compact is Spectra's most portable premium pump, and its party trick is two motors. You can set suction differently for each breast, which is useful if one side is more sensitive or responds differently. Spectra quotes up to 300mmHg, with five massage levels and 12 expression levels.

It weighs 635g, charges by USB-C and runs for about two hours on its built-in battery. There's an LCD display you can read in the dark and a mute mode, and like all Spectra pumps it uses a closed system.

The catch is sizing. It ships with 28mm shields, which will be too big for many people, so budget for smaller ones (Spectra sells bundles with extra sets in your size). I also couldn't find independent UK testing of this specific model, so its score leans on Spectra's specs and the strong owner feedback for the S1.

At around £200 (RRP £249.95), it's the pump I'd look at if you want more flexibility than the S1 in a much lighter package.
