The full review

The Lansinoh 2-in-1 has been a budget favourite for years. It works as a single or double pump, with a let-down phase followed by an expression phase offering three pumping styles and eight suction levels. It uses a closed system to keep milk out of the tubing and has a backlit LCD for night sessions.

The big limitation is power. It runs from the mains or from batteries rather than a built-in rechargeable, so it's best suited to pumping at home. Lansinoh now sells a Rechargeable Double Electric at around £180 that fixes this, with a claimed three hours (about nine sessions) per charge.

Independent feedback is solid. Mumsnet named the 2-in-1 its best budget double electric, liking the three pumping styles and easy assembly, though some testers got back ache from holding the bottles. Mother&Baby's testers found it effective and good value, but noted it isn't portable or discreet and needs both hands without a pumping bra. Mother&Baby lists the two cushion sizes in the box as 25mm and 30.5mm.

The RRP is £169.99, but it's often discounted to around £120.
