The full review

The Lola & Lykke Smart is a single electric pump with the motor sitting on top of the breast shield, so there are no tubes. Lola & Lykke quotes suction of up to 321mmHg, with nine expression and six stimulation levels, plus automatic and memory modes. It weighs about 290g, charges by USB-C and runs for up to two hours.

It's a thoughtful design. There are five parts to wash, a touch display, a 30-minute auto shut-off and an adapter that lets you pump straight into Lola & Lykke storage bags, which saves a transfer and some washing up. A 24mm shield comes in the box, with 21mm and 27mm available.

It's one of the most decorated pumps in the UK, winning Gold at the Mother&Baby Awards in 2023 and 2024 and Silver in 2025, and testers praise how quiet and portable it is. The cons are consistent: it's a single, so it takes twice as long as a double; there's no carry case in the box; and MadeForMums found the touch display a bit oversensitive.

At around £145 full price it's pricey for a single, but it's often discounted.
